Marrion A- Resident:

“We love it here. We are never in our room because there is always so much to do. We come down and enjoy the breakfast every morning, relax, then join in on the exercise.

My husband and I are just so happy here.”

June E. –ResidentWhen asked what she thinks about Portal Village:

“Wonderful and wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. What really made an impression on me was on the first day I moved here; I walked down the hall and one of the staff members stopped me and said ‘Hi June, is there anything I can do to help you?’

She knew my name before I had even finished moving into my room.”

When asked –What advice would you give to someone about moving into a retirement community?

“It’s all about positive attitude. The thing that made me want to move here was the realization that living on my own was becoming isolated and unsafe. I am the type of person that likes to be busy and active. There is so much to do here and I am able to do everything that I want to be doing, and get to do it with friends.

Everything about Portal Village is so warm and inviting. I feel totally spoiled; pampered.”
