Visitors
There is an expansion on Visitors to include Caregivers. This includes someone designated by the Resident who will provide cognitive stimulation, communication, meaningful connection, relational continuity, and assistance in decision making. If you feel this is something you would like to talk about, please contact someone from our team for more information.

I have included on this email the Voluntary Assumption of Risk for Visitors. You will find this is becoming a more common practice. We require the form signed prior to your next scheduled visit. While Portal Village will continue to do our best to keep everyone safe, this ensures that visitors understand the risk involved.
As announcements and protocols change, we will continue to keep the safety and well being of our staff and residents as our primary focus. Please feel free to reach out with questions.
Thanks everyone!
